Low maintenance back suburban garden

This garden had to be low maintenance for an elderly lady. It was a simple design with `Astro’ grass for the lawn which requires being swept once in a while to remove debris and treatment for moss.

The client wanted a path around the garden for the grand children to ride their bikes on. She was looking for colour which was created by colourful but slow growing shrubs. She had just had a new extension put onto the back of the house, so the garden was a very important addition to the property, the archways gave height to the garden and support for climbing roses and clematis.
