About Us

Suzanne is the principal of the business. RHS Horticulture and Garden Design qualified, she has spent over 10 years designing and implementing gardens of all sorts and sizes. She has a passion for plants and is normally found somewhere outside! We had the pleasure of exhibiting at the RHS Malvern Spring Show 2018 with a bio-diversity garden.

Garden Design by Suzanne works with a number of specialists from tree surgeons to carpenters, landscapers and electricians, but more normally works alongside contractors chosen by the client. We also have extensive relationships with suppliers of plants and horticultural equipment. 

"I have had a passion for plants since early childhood, you would always find me in the garden messing with plants. For 25 years my career has followed a horticulture theme. I was Head Gardener at a Historic house in the Midlands for 12 years, presenting to the public on the history of gardening. I qualified with the RHS Horticultural Level 2 in 2001.

"I had great pleasure in co-presenting the Gardening Programme at BBC Radio Oxford for 8 years, advising and answering horticultural questions from the public. I then decided to combine my schooling in art and my passion for design and qualified as a Garden Designer.

There is nothing more enjoyable than to walk into a garden and seeing the potential that it holds for something beautiful and to be given the opportunity to create something wonderful."
